Adinkra Workshop
This winter our youth participated in the Adinkra cloth making workshop at the DIA. As preparation for this outing, we taught the youth about the history and importance of symbols and symbolism in African culture.
Martial Arts Workshop
As part of our martial arts module, the youth visited a local martial arts school and practiced with esteemed teacher Baba Kenny.
Canoeing & Environmental Warriors
Canoeing and Environmental Science&Nature trip. The youth have fun canoeing along the Huron river while mastering the knowledge of the Marshland-based Ecosystem.
